Meet Harvey. He wasn't always like this. Once upon a time, he worked middle management at a paper company, lived for casual Fridays, and had a decent credit score. Then one day, he took a wrong turn into the apocalypse and came back with moss in his scalp, half a jaw, and a skull full of regrets. Now he mostly shuffles around muttering about “quarterly reports” and trying to remember where he left his good shoe.
One eye’s still hanging in there—blue, bloodshot, deeply disappointed. The other socket? Worms. Just worms. Nobody knows how they got in there or what they want, but they’ve signed a long-term lease. Harvey may not be the fastest zombie, or the scariest, or even the freshest, but he’s definitely the most confused. And possibly the friendliest. Just don’t shake his hand. It’ll come off.
All products are made individually, by hand, by a single artist. Depending on the current volume of orders, delivery times may vary, and provided times are an estimate based on historical delivery information.
Wearable masks have vision slits cut above the eyes, with a few exceptions (such as Sack Head and Hellbound, in which the human eye is eliminated) and are cut up the back. There may be additional cuts in the nose and mouth to facilitate breathing.
Display masks are entirely uncut and are meant to be used on mannequins or mask stands.
Prop heads are life size, but too small to wear and cannot be made wearable.
Masks are one size fits all and cannot be resized bigger or smaller. Most masks have a head circumference of around 24-25 inches.
Dark Illusions has made and sold thousands of latex Halloween masks since 1997.
